Earlier this week we announced the temporary three-day suspension of production within Italy. This action was taken as a result of the ongoing impact of Covid-19 in order to protect the health and safety of our employees. In light of the ongoing severity of the situation, we can confirm that we will extend the suspension of production in Italy until March 27th.
During this period, in case of specific needs and in limited situations, a minimum level of activity to support customers could be in place.
This measure has been taken in addition to actions that the company has already adopted in the past weeks to best ensure the health and safety of employees, while also preserving business continuity.
We are following all the advice from local and national governments and continue to engage with our employees and customers. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will take further action as it evolves.
