Marelli appoints Sherry Vasa as Chief of the new People and Organization function

Leading global automotive supplier, Marelli, has today announced the appointment of Sherry Vasa as EVP, Chief People and Organization Officer.

Sherry Vasa is a global executive who has spent a career living and working in the US, Asia/Pacific, and Europe for Fortune 500 organizations. She spent over 20 years in a variety of leadership roles at the world’s largest automotive safety supplier, Autoliv, where most recently she held the position of Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Sustainability & Corporate Communications.

Within Marelli, Sherry will lead the newly created People and Organization function. This new function incorporates HR to focus much more on people and teams as well as broader organizational development. It will play a principal role in building an organization that is centered around Marelli’s values and long-term goals. Diversity and inclusion and Sustainability are just two of the Marelli core values that are critical for future success – both of which are areas that will fall within the new People and Organization function’s role and responsibilities.
