Dinesh Paliwal

Mr. Paliwal is a partner within the Americas Private Equity business of KKR, a private equity investment firm.
Mr. Paliwal was the President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Harman International (2017-2020) and Chairman, CEO and board member of Harman International (2007-2017), a company that designs and engineers connected products for automakers, consumers and commercial companies. Prior to joining Harman, Mr. Paliwal worked at ABB (1985-2007) and served as President of ABB Group and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ABB North America. Mr. Paliwal is the Lead Director of Raytheon Technologies, Director of Nestle and Marelli Corp. He also serves on the board of trustees of Miami University, Ohio. 
Mr. Paliwal holds an MBA in finance and marketing and a master’s degree in applied science and engineering, both from Miami University of Ohio and a master’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Paliwal has lived and worked in Australia, China, India, Singapore, Switzerland and the United States. In the past, he also served on the board of directors of ABB, Embarq, TYCO, ADT Securities, Bristol Myers Squibb and Harman International.
